Imagine a place where the sun relentlessly beats down, and the horizon is lost in a desert landscape. Where access to basic medical care is not a daily occurrence but a luxury. It is there, in one of the most challenging corners of the world, that a small hospital operates, fighting for the lives of expectant mothers and their children every day.

Thanks to generosity of donors and the collective mobilization of the Open Wings Foundation, we have managed to equip the midwife with modern medical equipment that enables the diagnosis of pregnant women and the safe delivery of babies. This is a huge step forward – in a place where every medical consultation was once worth its weight in gold, expectant mothers can now count on better care, greater safety, and a chance for a healthy start for their children.

This is not just equipment. It is hope that was given to future moms… Hope that their children will come into the world in dignified conditions, surrounded by care and support.
